​​Since graduating from Pratt Institute over 30 years ago, MaryEllen has been exploring  various photographic processes. Her passion is late 19th and early 20th century large format photography. She has been experimenting with printing her landscapes, botanicals and portraits using alternative methods combining old and new technologies.​​

 

MaryEllen is also the founder of The Thin Places Project, an effort to document places where people experience the presence of the spiritual.
